A commission from aviation company, NYCO to shoot an engineer performing maintenance tasks on an Easyjet plane at night time in Luton Airport. Simple brief but challenging to get a clean image and show the wider plane and context when the oil they want to showcase is no bigger than a 2.5 litre paint tin.
I am really happy to be a winner of the prestigious Portrait of Britain Awards 2019! My portrait of young trainee farmer, Tom Carter at a Livestock Auction in Somerset was picked as a top 100 in the nationwide exhibition during the month of September and book published my Hoxton Mini press.
My project on Chinese migrant workers building Shanghai’s luxury developments was published over three double pages spreads in Holland’s FD Magazine (the equivalent of the FT Magazine, if you like) Many thanks to Mick Peet, the Art Director for running them. Headline runs, ‘In front of the façade’
I was commissioned to make some authentic photography for Shell during their week long Eco-Marathon event, this year held at Brookland’s Racetrack. Photography was to show buzzwords like youth, engagement and energy. Hopefully I managed to get a feel of that - images were for Shell’s social media channels.
