I'm a London and Brighton-based documentary photographer, previously I was based in China for 10 years, I have 15+ years of experience.
At 16, I got my first SLR which I played with for two years before deciding to make it my career. For university I moved to Wales and studied a BA (Hons) Photojournalism degree, graduating in 2005. In 2007 I arrived in China and established myself as a freelance photographer and covered the country extensively for editorial and corporate clients; from shooting illegal coal mines and dissident artists to making a portrait of the president of Taiwan. In 2018 I published my first photo book which looked at China's Real Crazy Rich, titled GLORIOUS! it is a snapshot of China's Second Generation Rich.
My photos have been published worldwide in global media, advertisements and annual reports. I work with photo editors, communication directors and art directors. If you have a project or commission you would like to discuss, then please get in touch - I'm available both locally and internationally!
