Known as Brighton's last fisherman, Rory McCormack is the last to have a boat permantly stationed on Brighton Beach.
He is a bit of an institution in Brighton but few people have actually seen him. However most have seen his compound where he keeps his boat which is now adorned with pebble sculptures that he has made over the years. Rory is worried that the council are threatening to tear down his compound and fishing rights.
Before Brighton Marina was built, he was one of numerous fisherman stationed along the beach. Preferring to keep things simple, he has done away with a boat engine and winch. Instead he rows and pulls his boat to shore and back. The only known fisherman to do so along the south coast.
