Dungeness, Kent, UK.
Home to one of the UK's eight nuclear power stations, Dungeness is known as 'Englands desert' due to the low rainfall the area receives annually. The area is one of the biggest expanses of shingle in all Europe and is expanding each year.
It has an air of strangeness due to it landscape, proximity to Nuclear power station, miliary testing sites and the nearby holiday caravan parks which are empty in winter months.
