About Me

I'm a London-based professional photographer but also travel regularly to Shanghai and Beijing in China.  Where previously, I spent 9 years living and shooting in China.   I specialise in documentary, portrait, corporate and industrial photography.

At 16, I got my first SLR which I played with for two years before deciding to make it my career. For university I moved to Wales and studied a BA (Hons) Photojournalism degree, graduating in 2005.   In 2007 I arrived in China and established myself as a freelance photographer and covered the country extensively; from shooting illegal coal mines and dissident artists to making a portrait of the president of Taiwan.  My photos have been published worldwide in international broadsheets, magazines, ads,  annual reports and of course online.

When not shooting, I enjoy taking long walks, playing squash and planning trips. I speak Mandarin and so look forward to commissions in China in addition to London, UK and Europe.

If you have any project that you would like to discuss with me then please get in touch.
